Pocket MRS has been developed as an efficient electronic reference and educational resource tailored for students, medical professionals, researchers, and others engaged in the realm of in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS).

This mobile application provides straightforward access to simulated spectra of the human brain, accompanied by comprehensive analyses. The spectra, encompassing a time-echo range from 0 to 300 ms, are derived from realistic quantum mechanical density operator simulations. These simulations are further adjusted utilizing established concentration, T1, and T2 values for 19 distinct metabolites along with the aggregation of 10 macromolecules. Users can manipulate the spectra to explore variations in echo time, magnetic field quality, and noise levels, facilitating rapid visualization of how standard experimental conditions affect spectral presentation.

Pocket MRS serves as a quick digital reference and a significant asset for the MRS community, particularly in situations where desktop computers and more extensive MRS software tools are not readily accessible.
